A custom dungeon designed for Return to Chaos, in development.
Based on Ian Livingstone's famous gamebook, this game features a complete high resolution graphics conversion, outside levels, new monsters and characters, dark orchestral music.

Sukumvit's Labyrinth : wanna get lost ?

A 6-level, non-linear custom dungeon designed for Return to Chaos.

Fang, capital of Chiang May province, a beautiful and calm city, but too small for its governor, the evil Baron Sukumvit. To provide trade and attract foreigners, he created a new competition : the Trial of Champions.
Fifteen years ago, he invented the darkest and most dangerous dungeon ever. During five years, all people who tried to find the way out never came back.
But ten years ago, a mysterious adventurer won the first Trial of Champions and got very rich. Then, a new dungeon was created... Again five years later, a courageous slave won the second Trial and got freedom.
This year, the 1st of May 623, a new dungeon has just been constructed : darker and harder than the previous ones...

RTCIP : a graphic tool to get items positions

This little tool displays RTC coordinates for all types of items (flooritems and wallitems at the moment).
You won't need to re-compile your dungeon each time you want to place correctly new objects into it !

This tool generates 2D bitmaps from a real 3D scene.
Choose the textures you want and get the RTC code for your custom dungeon.

Blitz3D test clone (abandoned)

Here's a little 3D Dungeon Master clone in Blitz Basic 3D.
My aim is not to make an entire game by myself, but to find the best gameplay for DM in 3D : i mean real 3D, not tile-by-tile 1980's movement !
The biggest problem is that you need the mouse pointer to select your spells, pick objects, make your champions fight and so on.
So i decided to make 2 modes you can switch by pressing space bar :
- a free mouse mode, same as classic FPS.

- an interface mode same as DM or CSB.


Textures are © copyright David Gurrea.
They come from "Severance : Blade of Darkness" which is probably the best game i've ever played (after Dungeon Master, of course).
